They will cry "Save us!!" and I will whisper, "burn".

Oh my fucking bullshit, I'm going to shoot somebody.

@BarackObama: President Obama: “The time for bickering is over. The time for games has passed. Now is the season for action.”

@BarackObama: “Know this: I will not waste time with those who have made the calculation that it’s better politics to kill this plan than improve it”

OH MY FUCKING BULLSHIT I’ve grown tired of the Obama naysayers. It’s like this; if you can do a better job then do so. If you can’t then shut the fuck up. “ has been constant with his decisions!” Are you completely daft? Being stubborn and being stuck in general idiocy is different to having an ability to learn and grow. Most time, as in 9/10 times, a different outlook or view is gained by learning and a once feasible solution often reveals its flaws. Changing yourself to suit the condition and altering your answer to one that will not obviously fail, is that a better choice or is consistency more important?

If I hear anything else about “Well, he’s not American”, or any other racist/elitist/xenophobic comment, I’m going to flay the meat from your bones and wear your hide like a cape. Seriously.

Note: Nationalities are adjectives too.
Note: Patriotism = Democracy where people throw tantrums when something goes against their world view? Autocratic society? Autarchy of the people? Xenophobia? Forcing your elitist view on the rest of the world? (this list could go on)

Also note: Rant/shake your fist all that is desired. I've listened and held my peace as much as can be tolerated.
Also note: I preached and questioned "love" in the hopes that people would notice their blatant hypocrisy but apparently that's too vague.

Okay, this is a fucking conversation that I put up. Can't say we agree on most political issues but he's not fucking whiny about it and he's willing to work to put the best foot forward.
Aeght:

Thoughts?

Jenkins:

ok

so

i had to read that again

Obama is NOT un-American

in fact, if anything, he's slowly moving us to it... minus the economy, which could be argued either way

Aeght:

My point is, even if he was, why would he help a country if he was aiming to watch it fall?

Why would he build world relations only to have the country collapse?

Aeght:

Why the fuck break people out of their xenophobic -- fuck it, racist -- shells just to watch them collapse?

Jenkins:

it's because they are trapped in their own state party lines

Aeght:

That's shit I'd do but only because I don't particularly care. But given that I don't particularly care about the state of countries, why would I step up to begin with?

Jenkins:

right

a lot of people don't like him because of racism... since all things considered, he's done a great job

like, people say it's getting worse, when it's slowly getting better, and that man does try... in fact, i remember his acceptance speech

"if i do not succeed in the 4 years, I will step down for the greater good of the american people"

something like that

he's the most american president we've had for a while

Okay. Given that since I'm not American, what the fuck? Seriously, what the fuck is up with this bullshit?

Nintenblow

You know what burns my ass? Nintendo. Just...fucking Nintendo. In the late 80s and early 90s, this company was a household name. As a matter of fact, they still are today. Among today's gamers, however, that name represents blatant money whoring. Don't get me wrong; I'm not trying to outright bash Nintendo. This was a company I grew up with. I completely understand what they're doing now. That doesn't mean I like it.

In recent years, Nintendo has shifted their focus from gamers to everyone else. Many loyal Nintendo followers still remember the day that Nintendo said "FUCK YOU" to a demographic that had pretty much supported them through the good times and the bad in favor of releasing shovelware for a wider demographic on the Wii. Nintendo could have at least said something to the effect of "We thank our loyal fans for handing over their money (suckers!) supporting us throughout the years, and hope for their continued support". Instead, their loyal fans got shoved to the side in favor of money. I don't really have anything more to say on this subject. It was a logical move, and Nintendo is that much richer for making it. Hell, they've got to keep up with the competition somehow, and it's a move no one else has pulled. Recently, it seems like they've tried to keep their old demographic (with such titles as Mad World, Smash Bros. Brawl, Super Mario Galaxy, and the recently announced No More Heroes 2, kick ass!) with varying degrees of success. So I guess they're not completely abandoning us? I'm not sure; I've been out of the console loop for a little while.

One thing that has ALWAYS, ALWAYS chapped my ass (now, more than ever) is Nintendo's penchant for re-releasing their hardware. It always seems like the second (and in the NDS' case, the third) version of the system is something you absolutely have to have. I'll let the Gameboy Pocket slide, since that was actually an improvement that was made when the technology became readily available. But what about the GBA SP? What the fuck is with the NDS lite being released so soon after the original? Why couldn't they have released this shit the first time through? It always seems like Nintendo is getting the right idea a bit late, and they're making their customers pay for it. It's blatant money whoring. Maybe the technology really wasn't readily available at the time, but I hardly think that's the case with the SP and the NDS Lite (and now the DSi). And now there's the Wii Motion Plus! Wouldn't 1:1 motion have been nice...gee, I don't know, when the Wii came out?

This may just be the senseless ranting of a former Nintendo fanboy who's been spurned by their recent practices, but hey, it feels good to rant. That's (mostly) what this blog's here for. I'm sharing my rants. With the entire Internet. Riiight. Anyway, I hope you've enjoyed poking fun at my opinions and possible definite lack of research.
